Food changes everything. As a health coach I will help you begin to make simple dietary changes. As your daily food choices change, your body changes and your happiness improves. Whether you choose the In Person or the Long Distance program, the tools I will give you will assist you to live a more fulfilling life.

What does the program include?
A variety of programs and services are available. If you don't see what you are looking for I can tailor a program to your specific needs. Here are some general highlights:
  • One-on-one coaching sessions
  • Individual "kitchen time" to explore new foods and cooking techniques

Is this for you?
There is nothing to lose to find out. The first meeting is free and you are under no obligation to continue. Even if you don't continue you'll learn some value information about yourself.

What actually happens at that meeting? There are essentially two parts. Everyone is at a different stage in goal setting, so the first thing I do is give a quiz to determine where you are. For example, a person just starting to a walking program would approach exercise differently than someone running marathons for five years. The quiz helps to establish an accurate baseline.

The rest of the meeting I will go through a confidential health history form with you to get an idea of who you are, your concerns, your challenges, as well as, your diet and your current food choices. You'll have the opportunity to freely talk about yourself, you life, and your needs. The goal is to find out how everything in your life effects your health--with food as the main focus.

Also when was the last time a health professional really took the time to listen to all your concerns? It's rare for someone to get a block of time to sit down with a trained professional and discuss wellness, nutrition, and goals. I am here to create a supportive environment, to be your wellness partner, as we explore what will work to help you make lasting lifestyle changes.
